About my 2026 collection:

My current practice explores the relationship between wilderness, place and the human spirit, and an attraction to things in their rawest, most unguarded forms. I am drawn to landscapes and environments that hold traces of time. Where weathering, growth, decay and human intervention have been allowed to accumulate rather than being erased or controlled. There is a sense of patience in these places, of things being given the time and space to become themselves. I am interested in the authenticity this creates: the character held within a landscape, an old building, a piece of weathered material, or within our own emotional and psychological landscapes. Through colour, layering, texture and increasingly tactile and organic materials, I am exploring the beauty of the untamed, the imperfect and the unresolved, and the possibility that authenticity can emerge when we stop trying to impose an ideal form and instead pay attention to what is already there.
