Current Research

My practice is rooted in curiosity, observation and experimentation. This page brings together the sketches, material explorations, reflections and emerging ideas that sit behind the finished work.

Inspired by the interconnectedness of nature and human experience, I am interested in how processes of growth, erosion, fragmentation and repair can be explored through materials and making. Here I share the evolving journey of my research, documenting both discoveries and uncertainties as my practice continues to develop.

Explore Research and Process

Nature has long been at the heart of my practice.

Through painting, textiles and experimental making, I explore how natural processes can mirror our emotional lives. Themes of resilience, fragility, repair and transformation run throughout my work, reflecting an ongoing interest in the relationship between the human psyche and the natural world.

My current practice is evolving beyond painting into material experimentation, investigating how handmade paper, textiles and immersive installation can create new ways of experiencing and understanding emotional landscapes.

Alongside my studio practice, I facilitate creative workshops and community arts projects, believing that creativity should be accessible, exploratory and open to all.
